Book A Sitter

Welcome to HooSitting!

We are a student startup developed in 2014 by students in the McIntire School of Commerce! HooSitting is here to provide local families in Charlottesville with UVA students who would like to babysit. All of our babysitters have been interviewed by us. If you would like more information on our interview process, please email hoositting@gmail.com.

You will then be given directions to create a profile and will be contacted by the HooSitting Admin Team with a short interview!

Once you have been approved by us, simply use the calendar feature to the right to see "hoo" is available. If no one is available for the specific time you searched, it may be easier to search for sitters by clicking "all availability" to view the entire day and everyone's availability time on that day.

You can then enter special instructions and call your sitter beforehand. We understand parents wants to meet there sitters before hand, so please try and book them for an hour prior to the date you need them.

Finally, once you have booked your sitter you simply need to checkout at the top and pay for your sitter!
